About
My name is Justin Gable, I’m 27 from Fresno, CA, and I run a web development company called Element Web Media. A large part of my time is spent on the computer, working, and I absolutely love what I do. The remainder of my time is spent with my lovely wife Morgan, mountain biking on the numerous nearby trails, or playing some Xbox 360. Our fist child, Madelyn Jo, was born on November 30th 2008. I come from a large family with 3 younger sisters and 2 nieces (yes, I am surrounded by girls).
My Work History
I dabbled HTML back in 1997 but it wasn’t until early 2004 that I turned web development into my career. I began working at a internet startup that sold downloadable videos. My job was to create advertising banners for the company. They were in need of someone to do the programming so grabbed a PHP book and never looked back.
I went to work for another startup, along with doing some of my own work on the side. After leaving I started my own web development company, Pyrobot Design, and did a few small projects, along with working at a local marketing agency. While at that agency I met Charles and we both left to start Element Web Media. We’ve been doing business for over a year now and have had nothing but success.
About the site
- The site is run on WordPress 2.6
- It uses jQuery for the library, and the plugin Thickbox
- The design was done by myself, I call it “Chalkboard”
- The site is hosted by MediaTemple
